Private cloud · self-hosted · end-to-end encrypted

Your photos and files.
On your own computer.
Reachable from anywhere.

Harbor turns a computer at home into your private cloud — the convenience of Google Photos and Drive, but end-to-end encrypted and actually yours. No public IP, no router setup, and no big tech reading your data.

How it works

  1. Install one app at home

A single app runs on a computer you already own. No server admin, no Docker, no networking knowledge.

  2. Your phone finds it — anywhere

Your devices reach home over a private encrypted overlay. No public IP, no port-forwarding, nothing exposed on your home network.

  3. Only you can read it

Everything is end-to-end encrypted on your devices. The relay that connects you forwards only ciphertext — it can’t read your data, and neither can we.

Why Harbor

You own it

Your hardware, your data. No monthly ransom to reach your own memories, no account that can be closed on you.

Zero-knowledge by design

End-to-end encryption isn’t a setting — it’s the architecture. The connecting relay never holds your keys and only ever sees encrypted packets.

Works like the cloud you’re used to

Automatic phone photo backup and file sync that just work from anywhere — without handing your life to a data broker.
